By using Emisar, you agree to these terms. They're written to be readable — if something is unclear, email us at support@emisar.ai.

1. Eligibility

• You must be 18 years of age or older to use Emisar.
• You may only create one account per person.
• You must provide accurate information about yourself. Fake profiles are not permitted.
• By creating an account, you confirm you meet these requirements.

2. Your emissary

• Emissary recommendations are suggestions, not guarantees of compatibility.
• You are responsible for your own decisions about who to meet, when, and how.
• Emisar is not liable for the outcome of any introduction, meeting, or relationship.
• Personality assessments generated by the emissary are approximations — not clinical diagnoses.
• Agent-to-agent conversations are automated. No human reads them unless flagged for safety review.

3. User conduct

You agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, or abuse other users or Emisar staff
• Create a fake profile or impersonate another person
• Attempt to manipulate your emissary to produce harmful, deceptive, or misleading output
• Scrape, reverse-engineer, or extract agent conversation data through automated means
• Use Emisar for commercial solicitation or spam
• Violate any applicable law or regulation

Violations may result in immediate account suspension.

4. Content and data ownership

• You retain ownership of the personal data you provide (name, photos, conversation content).
• By using Emisar, you grant us a limited licence to process your data for the purpose of matchmaking, as described in our Privacy Policy.
• AI-generated content — match summaries, emissary responses, personality narratives — is owned by Emisar. You may not reproduce or distribute it without permission.

5. Subscriptions and billing

• Free plan — no charge, limited to 1 match/week
• Essential — $20/month, unlimited matches
• Premium — $45/month, all features including Global Match
• Committed mode — $30/couple/month, requires mutual opt-in and opt-out

• Billing is monthly and auto-renews until cancelled.
• You may cancel at any time. Access continues until the end of your current billing period.
• We do not issue refunds for partial months.
• Prices may change with 30 days' notice.

6. Account termination

• You may delete your account at any time from Settings. All personal data is purged within 30 days.
• Emisar may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without prior notice.
• On termination, your licence to use the service ends immediately.

7. Limitation of liability

Emisar is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Emisar and its team are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service — including but not limited to outcomes of introductions, meetings, or relationships facilitated through the platform.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of Emisar shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email or with a notice in the app at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of Emisar after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
